As you may have noticed in the last few years, the green bandwagon has become crowded. We’re delighted to make room as long as the bar for what it means to be sustainable stays as high as you’ve come to expect from us. Many others have festooned themselves with a splash of fashionable green while most of their products are anything but. They still include materials such as synthetic textiles, cushions with polyester fill, furniture with mdf components, paraffin wax, resin, plastic and more. That’s not VivaTerra, and it never will be.

At times, sourcing goods entails going off the beaten path...way off. Our offerings are frequently made by talented artisans in remote villages around the world where we can help provide economic sustenance otherwise unavailable to them. We’re committed to those who create our products. We believe they deserve a living wage so they can feed, educate, and care for their families as well as healthy and humane working conditions that honor their skills and expertise.
