HEALING OUR INTIMATE RELATIONSHIPS

Yesterday we delivered our free webinar “Healing Intimate Relationships”, which was the 2nd in our series of relationship webinars for 2011 led by Luis Angel Diaz.

Luis has been snowed in all week in his home in northern California, and the power has been going on and off for days. This gave us some telephone problems at the top of the broadcast, but once we got going, it was a really lovely event.
First, we reviewed some of the things we talked about in our February webinar, such as the 4 “pillars” of healthy relationships: Trust, Honesty, Respect and Equality. 
 We also reviewed the idea of how if you have healthy “roots” (your relationship with self) you will have good “fruits” (your relationship with others).
Then, we went on to play a “game” where Luis asked everyone to “fill in the blanks” about some of our beliefs about men, women, marriage, divorce, sex and other things. The variety of responses we got back from the audience was VERY interesting! If you missed it, be sure to download the audio and play the game yourself.
We also learned the next part of from “The Rescuing Game” we started on the February call.
During the question and answer period, one of callers told us she had a major revelation when listening to what Luis had to say. It was actually very moving to hear how much the class impacted her.
We’d like to hear from more of you about how this webinar impacted you. So, we’ve set up a little dialogue on a special blog post just for you to share your thoughts. Here’s what we’d like to know:
